A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring the four horsemen of Apocalypse, Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War, riding in to battle the X-Men, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Beyond Good and Evil, Part IV: End and Beginning," which aired on November 25, 1995. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.5"x8.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, including light scratches, minimal line fade, and paper backing stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
